With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Marie Perkins of Flatwoods, Kentucky, born in Adams County, Ohio, who passed away on November 1, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse "Tom" Kirk and Ollie Dehart Kirk; her daughter Dian Layman; her granddaughters, Safrona Renaee Kincaid, Angela Ball and Elizabeth "Toogie" Conley; her great grandchild Mattie Conley; her sister Edna Oliver; and the father of her children Eugene "Carl" Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, James Perkins (Ruth Ann) of Flatwoods, KY, Clifford Perkins (Teresa) of Raceland, KY and Mary Beth Williams (John) of Raceland, KY; and her siblings, Russell Kirk of Raceland, KY and Shirlene Moore of Flatwoods, KY. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
