We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2024, at the age of 86, Samuel E. Hensley of Flatwoods, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hensley and Maxine Callihan Brown; and his brothers, Carlos "Proc" Hensley and James Edward Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Rosie Thornbury Hensley; his children, Samuel Hensley, Jr. (Connie), Stewart Dale Hensley and Tammy Vallance (Donnie); his sister Sara Alyce Gilliam; and his grandchildren, Trey, Minta, Phillip, Julie, Jeannie, Jake, Jayda, Korey and Megan.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Gideons International.
