We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2022, at the age of 61, Rita June Adams Payne of Flatwoods, Kentucky, born in Greenup, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Vera Jean Stephenson Adams; her husband Larry Dean Payne; and her daughter Sarah Mae Payne Akers. She is survived by: her father Arnold W. Adams (Sally) of Greenup; her son Larry Payne (Kayla Cordle) of Greenup, Kentucky; her siblings, Arnold "Buddy" Adams (Brenda) of Richmond, Charles "Chuck" Adams (Crystal) of Ironton, Ohio, Denise Barnett (Wayne) of Greenup and Candi Riffe (Jerry Brian) of Greenup; and her grandchildren, Leslie Payne, Kobe Payne, Micah Brown, Hunter Russell, Taylor Long, Stephanie Akers and Amanda Akers. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
