He is survived by: his wife Doris Dean Chaudoin Mitchell of Flatwoods; and his daughters, Tonya Mitchell of Ohio, Stephanie Mitchell of Campbellsville and Angela (Mike Mandziak). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or First Baptist Church Russell Mission Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
