She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kirkbride and Martha Jean Cordle Fortune; and her sisters, Sherry Bowman and Lou Ann Fortune. She is survived by: her husband Donald Ray Pennington of Flatwoods, KY; her sister Tracy "Theodore" Adams of Russell, KY; her niece Lateissa Adams of Flatwoods, KY; her nephews, David and Keith Hicks; her great-niece Emma Steele of Flatwoods, KY; and her siblings-in-law, Roger (Barbara), Johny Pennington (Sharon) of Olive Hill, KY, Ronald Pennington of Sandy Hook, KY, Jerry Pennington of Rowan County, KY and Linda Sue Pennington of Sandy Hook, KY.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bailey Family Funeral Home (2110 Argillite Rd, Flatwoods, KY 41139). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
