It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Moore of Flatwoods, Kentucky, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Michael had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Michael may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Moore and Jessie Wallen Moore; and his brother Steve Rice. He is survived by: his wife Amy Pennington; his sons, William Ausitn Pennington, Jesse Moore and Thomas "Max" Moore; his sisters, Valeria Moore and Bonnie Blackaby (Lee); and his nieces, Chistina Barker and Kelsey Blackaby.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bellefonte Memorial Gardens (700 Red Devil Ln, Russell, KY 41169).
