He was predeceased by: his mother Irene White Sluss. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his siblings, Karen Sue Parsley, Donna LaCroix (Don) and Kevin Sluss (Emma); his father George E. Sluss; and his brother Ronnie Sluss. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews for whom he was a father figure, and a multitude of friends.
