It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Marie Lucas (Flatwoods, Kentucky), born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Holbrook and Grace Reeves Holbrook; her husband Billy E. Lucas Sr.; her son Michael Lee Rogers; and her brothers, James Holbrook and Vernon D. Holbrook.
She is survived by: her son Paul David Rogers (Brenda) of Ashland, KY; her daughter-in-law Karen Rogers of Richmond, KY; and her grandchildren, Paul David Rogers Jr., Steve Rogers (Britta), Christopher Rogers, Kelly Rogers and Patrick Rogers. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
