He is survived by: his daughters, Yvonne Denise Melvin of Flatwoods, KY and Michele Lea Rose (Roger) of Greenup, KY; his grandchildren, Jessica Headford (Ben), Brandon Kiser, Lorna Rose and Holly Rose (Levi Lewis); his great grandchildren, Lucille of Aaron James, Liam and Clara; and his sisters, Julia Elizabeth Witten Davis of West Jefferson, OH, Zella Mae Penix of Wurtland, KY and Virginia Joy Litteral of Wurtland, KY.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Old Steam Baptist Church (2664 State Route 503, Wurtland, KY 41144). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oldsteam Baptist Church (2664 State Route 503, Wurtland, KY 41144). A committal service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast (100 Veterans Mem Dr, Argillite, KY 41143).
