He is survived by: his parent Bernice Blackburn Martin; his children, Cynthia "Cindy" Melvin (Jerry), Kimberly Martin and Kevin Martin (Janet); and his siblings, Mayo Martin, Lois Borders and Nancy Charles. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
