It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gregory Lee Blanton of Flatwoods, Kentucky, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Gregory Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gregory Lee farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his son Noah Blanton of Flatwoods; his siblings, Russell Earl Blanton (Debbie) of Winchester, Richard Alan Blanton (Kim) of Russell and Marissa Lynn Kouns (Tom) of Flatwoods; his aunt Lynn White of Boone, NC.; and also Cindy Blanton of Fleming Co. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Music Family Funeral Home (224 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
