It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glima Beatrice Slone Allen (Flatwoods, Kentucky), born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 14, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Slone and Myrtle Elkins Slone; her husband Kelly Howard Allen; her daughters, Glema Rowe, Macie Boston and Barbara Mayes; and her sister Gladys Mateles.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Allen (Connie) of Ashland, KY and Jerry Slone (Sue) of Pikeville, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
