He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Bayes and Alka Salyer Bayes; his wife Judith Adams Bayes; and his sisters, Mildred Emogene Phillips (Beady) and Hermalee "Tootie" Salyers (Walter Peanut).
He is survived by: his children, Mike Bayes (Faith) of Owasso, OK, David Bayes (Francesca) of Versailles, Steve Bayes of Louisville and Kim Nall (Rodd) of Russell; his grandchildren, Will Bayes, Trent Tice, Jaxon Nall, Deanna Tarpley (Ray), Darian Hill, Matthew Smith and Aaron Smith (Katie); and his great grandchild Oliver Tarpley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
