He was predeceased by: his parents, Wetzel Fields and Bessie Burchwell Fields; his wife Sallie Ellen Stewart Fields; his daughter Faith Kristen Clay; and his brother Paul Fields.
He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Fields (Virginia) of Lexington, KY, Ramona Meyer (Greg) of Antioch, IL and Isabella "Belle" Fields of Flatwoods, KY; his grandchildren, Zoie Ellen Clay, Kyla Spaulding, Liam Fields, Wyatt Fields, Beckett Fields and Milo Meyer; and his siblings, Mike "Charles" Fields (Patty) of Ashland, KY, John Fields of Flatwoods, KY and Judy Adams of Ashland, KY. He is also survived by extended family and friends including his bonus children and grandchildren.
