We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2019, at the age of 78, David W. Tompkins (Flatwoods, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tompkins and Nellie Tompkins; and his former wife Alberta Tompkins. He is survived by: his wife Vondia Clary-Tompkins; his daughters, Reba Nance-Hall (William), Carol Tompkins and Denise Tompkins; and his granddaughter Willow Reba Shianne Nance.

“I was foster kid of David Tompkins years ago. It’s was 30 plus years I have to say this he was a great man. Was one of the most reasonable people I’ve even been part of. As a man now I can contribute to some of his understandings. He was always the understanding one me and Alberta had are feuds but I respected her. We went long periods without talking at time but in the the long run founded to have the most respect for them both. I wish I could see the then both today and thank them both.”
