He is survived by: his wife Cheri Hamilton Blanton; his children, Missa Blanton Nuckolls (Donald), Mary Blanton of Flatwoods and Christopher Blanton (Gretchen) of Maryland; his siblings, Sherry Blanton Tierney of Lexington, Debbie Keaton (Ray) of Salyersville, Cathy Cottle (Bob) of North Carolina, Ginger Williams of Salyersville and John Cochron (Karen) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Tucker, Mason, Brodie, Blake, Taylor, Kyra, Bailey and Sophie; his father-in-law Eulas Hamilton; and his close friend Jim Jordan of Alabama.
