He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Kitchen Payne of Flatwoods, KY; his children, Jason Payne of Flatwoods, KY, Rita J. Johnson (Roger) of Catlettsburg, KY, Diana L. Short of Catlettsburg, KY, Janet S. Payne of Catlettsburg, KY and Kaye F. Bryant of Flatwoods, KY; and his stepchildren, Charles Ray Miller of Flatwoods, KY and Kathy Kern (Jarrell) of Flatwoods, KY. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
