He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Calvin and Beulah Knapp Jeffers; and his sister Janice Jeffers. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Gillum Jeffers of Raceland, KY; his daughter Sharon Jarrell (James); his grandchildren, Kennedy and Jamerson Jarrell of Wurtland; his sons, Emerson Hart (Marsha) of Gainesville, TX and Garron Hart of Staunton; and his siblings, Wanda Smith of Huntington, WV, Joyce Arthur (Danny) of Lavalette, WV, Debbie Shull (Glenvill) of Milton, WV, Sandy Lucas (Dale) of Proctorville, OH and Doug Jeffers of Huntington, WV.. He is also survived by dad to his nieces.
He was a member of Christian Faith Outreach in Ashland, KY and helped support the homeless ministry there, through time and donations.
