He is survived by: his wife Lisa Kaye Haney Childers; his children, Suzan Childers, Jared Childers (Brent) of Harlan and Jessica Childers McPeek of Flatwoods; his sister Delberta Litteral (John) of Greenup, KY; and his grandchildren, Joshua Cecil (Dawn), Caleb Cecil (Leah), Sarah Cecil, Nicholas McPeek, Austin Hackworth and Tyler Hackworth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
