It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Franklin Carter of Flatwoods, Kentucky, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Carter and Nora Skaggs Carter; his wife Imogene Delong Carter; his great grandchildren, Joey Cantrell and Autumn Hayes; his brothers, Len, Jesse, Donald, George and Billy Carter; and his son-in-law Phillip Bowling.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Frasher (Gary), Bennie Jean Bowling, Sherri Short (Terry) and Rita Moore (Mike); his grandchildren, Angela Adkins, Benjamin Stafford, Bryan Adkins (Misty), Krista Hayes, Alia Roark (Nathan), Holli Ross, Jonathan Short (Alex Blake), Melanie Church and Stephanie Rodman (Eli); and his great grandchildren, Devin, Gabby, Wyatt, Chase, Tallon, Elizabeth, Jamison, Samarae, Tristan, Marcel, Bobby, Connor, Rhinnon, Nora, Jordan and Carter.
