He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Tackett and Martha Lewis Tackett; and his siblings, Stanley Tackett and Diane McWhorter. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Whitt Tackett; his daughters, Angela Hammond (Coss) and Rebecca Scott (Billy); and his grandchildren, Allison, Amanda Scott, Leslie Hammond and Tiffany Taylor.
