She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Mills and Ellen Collins Mills; and her siblings, Louise, Grace Mills, Virgil and Arthur Mills.

She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Beattie of Flat Lick; her sons, Daniel Tompkins (Lucille) of Oxford, MI and David Beattie (Rebecca) of Lubbock, TX; her sister Helen Marie Flynn of New Baltimore, MI; her sister-in-law Arthena Mills of Flat Lick; and her grandsons, Kenneth Tompkins (Nikki), Bryan and John Tompkins.
