He is survived by: his spouse Bobbie Jean Gambrel; his children, Angie Smith (Wendell) of Barbourville, Melissa Gray (Gary) of Barbourville and Mason Cox of Barbourville; his siblings, Wonda Johnson (Kelly) of Flat Lick and Charles "Pinky" Cox (Tiffany) of Flat Lick; his grandchildren, Anna, Will Smith, Faith Daniels (Isaac), Bethany Taylor, Kennedi Gambrel, Joseph Smith, Mikayla Mills (Justin), Wendi Smith, Connor Asher, Addy Cox, Kaydence Asher, Bristol and Ava Cox; and his great grandchild Colson Laine Mills.
