He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon King and Claudia Hall King; and his siblings, Jesse L. King, Simon King, Jr., Curtis King, Sylvester King and Janice Grubbs.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Johnson King; his children, Carla Stevens (Leslie), Arcoma King and Alesha Hensley (Andy); his stepchildren, Angela Turner (Ryan), Brad Nolan (Ashley), Jerry Ledford (Tracy) and Bobby Ledford; and his siblings, Floyd King, Clarence King, Joann Vandagriff (Doyle) and Georgia Ross (Bob). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
With current mandates placed in effect by Governor Beshear, attendance is limited to 60% capacity and all guests must wear a face covering at all times while practicing social distancing.
