She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Jackson Mills and Lester Mills; her brothers, Ronnie Mills, Matthew Mills and Edward Mills (JoAnne Mills); her sister-in-law Ann Mills; and her nephew Edward Allen Mills.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Arthur Shelton, Sr. of Flat Lick; her son Frank Shelton, Jr. of Corbin; her sister Lavinia Cole; her brother-in-law Farris Cole of Himyar; her brother Paul Mills of Corbin; and her friend Darlene. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and other relatives.
