He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Hale; his daughters, Karla Simmons (Ford) of Knox County, Jennifer McVay and Jessie of Bimble; and his grandchildren, Jessie Carl McVey, Jennifer McVey, Joseph Simmons, Brittnay Smith and Destiney Simmons.
