He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Jimmy Dial. He is survived by: his children, Blake Morgan of Louisville, KY and Ayla J. Morgan of Louisville, KY; his stepson Brenton Sander of Louisville, KY.; his parents, Mick Morgan and Mary Morgan of Flaherty; his sisters, Cheryl Dial of Flaherty, KY and Michelle Bell (Jeff) of Rineyville, KY.; his nieces, Kristin Benham (Adam) of Brandenburg, KY, Brittnee Dial of Flaherty and Lauren Collins of Rineyville, KY; his nephew Michael Dial (Kaitlyn) of Georgetown, Kentucky; and his great-niece Adalyn Benham. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
