It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Masterson of Flaherty, Kentucky, who passed away on June 26, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leo Masterson and Martha Elizabeth Whelan Bassett; his stepfather William L. "Bill" Bassett; and his siblings, James Gregory Masterson and Margaret Joann Powell.
He is survived by: his close friend Laurie Ashley; his children, Brett Zelenka (Jane) and Ashley Masterson; his stepdaughters, Amanda Watts (Nicholas) and Danielle Bradley; his grandchildren, Gabriella, Malia Zelenka, Rylan, Tenley Ellis, Olivia and Hannah Watts; and his siblings, Mary Lillian Hay, Rose Heard, Marty Speaks, Geraldine Shanahan, Patty Taylor, Jeannie Allen, Joseph Hager, Bert Hager, George Leo Masterson, Bat Masterson and Eddie Masterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
