He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Meyering Hobbs and Mary Leona Shircliff Hobbs; his brothers, Donald Hobbs, Roy Hobbs, Martin Hobbs, Robert Hobbs and Richard Hobbs; and his brother-in-law W. L. Fible.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Carman Hobbs of Flaherty; his children, Debbie Hobbs of Flaherty, Kelly Hobbs of Flaherty, Cathy Hourigan (James) of Lexington, KY and Kevin Hobbs (Susan) of The Woodlands, TX; his grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylee, Braden Hobbs, Caroline and Wilson Hourigan; his siblings, Mary Rose Steinbock (late Tommy), David Hobbs (Janet), Genevieve Crutcher (Mike) and Marcella Barger (Joe); and his sisters-in-law, Jewel Fible, Darlene Hostetter and Linda Hobbs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
