It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kernel Francis of Fisty, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniel and Gertrude Elizabeth Purvis Francis; his former wife Nancy Lelia Crandall Francis; his son Benny Gerald Francis; and his sisters, Opal Ritchie, Connie Rachel Mallory, Loucille Ritchie, Mae Stacy, Mary Napier, Lillie Ritchie and Gurtie Singleton.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Anne Stacy Francis; his children, James Daniel Francis (Michelle Yvonne Gurnsey), Stanley Willis Francis (Mima), Connie Abaunza (Marvin), Ellen McIntosh (Thomas), Lesa Sizemore and Lelia Francis; his siblings, Alex Thomas Francis and Nancy E. Jones; and his nephew Friends. He is also survived by Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren; A Host of Nieces.
