He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Combs and Ethel Mae Wartz Combs; his wife Deborah Combs; his children, Crystal Vanschoyck, Carl Combs Jr. and Jennifer Johnson (Wes); his grandchildren, Shantel Gonzales, Asha Gonzales, Himala Gonzales, Dehaun Johnson, Diego Johnson, Austin Vanschoyck, Shakirah Johnson, Aiyana Johnson, Deana Combs and James Hicks; his great grandchild Kaya Gonzales; his siblings, Jimmy Combs (Kay), Charles John Combs (Beverly), Elizabeth Combs (Adam) and Samantha Combs; and his son James Gonzales Private Graveside.
