He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine J. Truex Slocum. He is survived by: his children, Russell Slocum (Donna) of Nashua, NH, Debra Coon (Robert) of Whiting, Sue Degennaro (Frank) of Whiting, Donna Daytona (John Boyer), William Slocum of Toms River, Christopher Slocum (Elizabeth) and Bobbie Jo Gilson of Toms River. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
