She was predeceased by: her children, Virginia Ellen Bertrand and James Matthew Bertrand; her parents, Carl Ray, Jr. and Virginia Kunzman Gaunt; and her brother Carl Ray Gaunt, III.

She is survived by: her children, Jon Michael Bertrand (Terri) and Courtney Rachel Bertrand; and her siblings, Darlene Gaunt Merandi and Dale Gaunt.
