He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Mason; his children, Almerine Stout III, Michael Stout (Jenny), Jennifer Wayne and Charles Stout Sr. (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Melissa Wayne, Jacob (Chloë), Olivia, Chaz and Zach Stout; his great grandchildren, Cambrie, Ainsley and Cora; and his sisters, Mary Ann Hahn (James), Margaret Mason, Betty Stewart (Terry) and Rosa Hardy (David).

In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations to his church.
