He is survived by: his wife Gail Wheeler Stringer; his son Michael Shane Stringer; his siblings, Kenneth W. "Kay" Stringer, Alan R. Stringer of Somerset, Jeffery Stringer, Cheryl M. Runyan, Jessica Bekai and Susan Wright; his granddaughters, Jacie Shianne Hinkle of Somerset and Jayla Marie Ferrell of Somerset; and his great grandchildren, Braxton Aiden Lee Ferrell and Aalayah Khristian Lee Hinkle.
