It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Freeda Murphy of Ferguson, Kentucky, born in Burnside, Kentucky, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Hiram and Dolly Isabelle Freeman Hall; her husband Kenneth Murphy; her stepson Kendall Murphy; and her siblings, James Hall, Gerald "Jerry" Hall, Vola Ray Hall, Thelma Smith, Elsie Phelps, Juanita Sumpter and Della Stutler.

She is survived by : her stepchildren, Randy Murphy (Debbie) of Kingsport, TN and Yvonne Barbour (Steve Mearns) of Seattle, WA; her siblings, Everett Hall of Falmouth, KY and Gayle Hale of South Carolina; and her stepdaughter-in-law Darlene Murphy. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
