He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Holmes of Farmington, KY; his children, Jonathan Lane Holmes II (Sarah) of Mayfield, KY, Serina Holmes of Kirksey, KY and Matthew Lackey (Meghan) of Smyrna, TN; his siblings, James Holmes (Myrtle) of Mayfield, KY and Pat Gupton of Golo, KY; and his grandchildren, Raylee Holmes, Amaya Butts, Adyeson Rowe, Chase Streiff and Eli Streiff.
