He was predeceased by: his sister Sue Whittemore; and his parents, James Paul and Connie Adair Wood. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wood; and his children, Jim Wood (Carol) of Farmington, KY, Mark Wood (Barbra) of Mayfield, KY, Paula Edwards (William) of Spring Hill, TN and Pamela Kirchner (Tom) of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
