She was predeceased by: her husband James Elmer Burgess; her siblings, Ira Toon, Earl Toon, Leon Toon, Alton Toon and Hazel Toon Wilson; her grandson Bobby Gore; and her parents, Elvis Toon and Idella Hobbs Toon.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Wilson (Ann) of Mayfield, KY, Dorothy McCulloch (James) of Hendersonville, TN, Margaret Gore of Farmington, KY and Cathy Shell (Butch) of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
