He is survived by: his wife Debbie Markwell; his children, Monty Markwell II, Kent Markwell and Casey Markwell of Farmers; his siblings, Everett Markwell of Morehead, Anthony Markwell of Morehead, Timothy Markwell of Morehead, Tommy Markwell of Morehead, Goria Cornman, Renea Harris, Kay Cobb and Nona Roush; and his grandchildren, Tabor Markwell of Hazard, Garrett Markwell and Cheyanne Markwell.
