He was predeceased by: his parents, Elick Wallace and Sarah Hicks Wallace; his children, Pauline Ratliff, Billy Ray Wallace and Gerald Wallace; and his siblings, Barbara Black, Margaret Mynhier, Bessie Webb, Alberta Smith, Sylvon "Pete", William, Lloyd, Chalmer and Melvin Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Jane Mays Wallace; his daughters, Sarah Knoll and Estill Co; and his stepdaughter Pauline Riddle.
