It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph F. Elder of Fancy Farm, Kentucky, who passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elijah and Mary Ruth Ballard Elder; and his siblings, William Elder, Linda Mae Elder and Danny Elder.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Elder of Fancy Farm; his children, Peggy Marler (Clint) of Fancy Farm, Steven Elder (Tara) of Mayfield, Benjamin Thomas Elder of Fancy Farm and Mariah Elder of Fancy Farm; his stepchildren, Regenia Wilson (Steven) of Pilot Oak and Dusty Rodgers (Kristin) of Paducah; his siblings, Jimmy Elder (Cynthia) of Fancy Farm, Mary Ann McDaniel (David) of Mayfield, Nancy Glover (Steve) of Calvert City and Dianne Elder of Fancy Farm; and his grandchildren, Bailey Elder, Baker Elder, Macy Marler, Eli Marler, Kealen Wilson, Jalen Wiggins and Waylon Rodgers. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
