She was predeceased by: her husband Julian Higgins; her parents, Raymond McWherter and Mary McWherter; and her siblings, Freddie Feezor and Rachel Higgins.
She is survived by: her daughters, DeAnna Ritzie and Julie Whitlock (Andy) of Fancy Farm, KY; her grandchildren, Zachary Ritzie (Jennifer), Brandon Ritzie (Gabrielle), Austin Whitlock (Mallory) and Lindsey Wilferd (Preston); and her great grandchild Ellie Ritzie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
