He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pyles and Lorretta Tate Pyles; his daughter Karen Spegal; and his siblings, Eddie, Gary Nichols, Nancy Neace and Myrna Whitecotton.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Didusch Pyles; his children, Robert (Karen), Gregory "Scotty" (Stacey), Bryon (Janell), Teresa Bennett (Chuck), Julie Enzweiler, Holly Curso (Darren) and Betty Shepherd (Kyle); his stepson Donald Taylor Jr. (Tina); and his siblings, Sheryl Brown and Larry Pyles. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home (8340 US Hwy 27, Butler, KY 41006). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home-Butler (8340 US Hwy 27, Butler, KY 41006).
