She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Monroe, Sr. and Burnette Ravenscraft Monroe; her husband William Edward "Bill" Spence; her grandsons, Landen Joseph Spence and Garrett Stephen Spence; and her siblings, Alma Courts Gillespie, Faye Oldham and John William "Johnny" Monroe, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Mains (Barry) and Allen Spence (Paula) of Falmouth, KY; her grandchildren, Darcie McCay (Steve), Mynor Spence and Rylee Spence; her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Makenna McCay; and her sister Elnora Jennings of Alexandria, KY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends.
