He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Ramsey and Nicy Teegarden Ramsey; his daughter Terri Massey; and his siblings, Nannie Jenkins, Dorothy Clifford, Kathleen Barnard, Geraldine Cummins, Edna Lou Ramsey, Harry Ramsey, Earl Junior Ramsey, Eugene Ramsey and Raymond Ramsey.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Showalter; his daughter Cheri Figgins (Gary); his son-in-law Rodney Massey; his sisters-in-law, Frances Ramsey and Letta Ramsey; and his grandchildren, Ryan Figgins (Rachel), Brandon Figgins (Haley), Tyler Figgins (Kelly), Kylie Figgins, Jordan Massey (Marsha), Rachel Slusher (Brent), Amanda Holthaus (Jeff) and Samantha Cooper (Tim).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodhead Funeral Homes, Memorials & Cremation Service - Falmouth (310 W Shelby St, Falmouth, KY 41040). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
