She is survived by: her husband Pete Shields; her children, Jeannie Margaret Barnard, Peter Martin Shields and Ryan Thomas Shields; her grandchildren, Allie Sturgill and Emma Barnard; her great grandchild Denley Sturgill; and her brother John Schmidt (Terri). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
