He was predeceased by: his father Hayden Hendy; his pet Buddy; and his sister Beverly Hendy. He is survived by: his mother Martha Aleene Wagner Hendy of Falmouth, KY; his wife Martha Faye Cummins Hendy; his stepdaughter Robin Begley (Wade); and his siblings, Barbara Galloway (Gerald), Linda Sue Hendy, Janice Holland (Ron), Karen Neal (Dennis), Larry Hendy, Kathy Hendy and Jimmy Hendy (Pam).
