She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard Taft and Lela Jane Davenport Davis; her husband Vardill Engle; her sister Neda Jo; her grandchildren, Beverly Engle and Melissa Fugate; and her friend Don Petty.
She is survived by: her children, William Engle (Janel) and Deborah Engle; her siblings, W. T. "Dub" Davis, Dorothy Sanders, Thelma Mabry and Mildred Shankle; her grandchildren, Hunter Engle, Nathan Bundy, Gage Engle, Cody Engle and Danielle Clark (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Chad Clark, Bristol Clark, Alex Clark and Annabella Lady (Ellen Petty).
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Peoples Funeral Home.
