He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sr. Ray and Leola Stone Ray; his siblings, Harold, Erwin "Ben", Dwight, Elmer Jr., Ralph Ray, Beverly Green and Josephine Ray; and his grandson Justin Yelton.
He is survived by: his wife Pattie Johnson Ray; his children, Marty Ray (Donna), Deron Ray (Jenny), Ronda Yelton (Randy) and Terri Miller; his siblings, Donald Ray and Rita Allen; his grandchildren, Aaron Miller, Chris, Brent, Dustin Yelton, Rachel, Olivia Ray, Austin, Joshua and Brayden Ray; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Mason, Owen, Grayson, Ryan and Raelyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice at 483 Loop Road Edgewood, KY 41017.
